Locality’s new brand and website launched

A new brand and website for recently merged organisation, Locality, helps them stand out confidently in the community sector.

Locality is the leading national network of community-led organisations, which was created from a merger between Bassac and The Development Trusts Association at the end of March 2011.

We helped to create the new name and brand for the organisation after a detailed consultation exercise and a series of stakeholder workshops. Our brand helps to capture the modern, optimistic and forward-looking nature of Locality members, in the strapline ‘Communities ambitious for change’.

Launched last month, the new website has provided the perfect opportunity to articulate Locality’s offer to the community sector and will in future help to promote networking between member organisations.

Locality has got off to a flying start in being named the lead delivery partner in the government’s Community Organisers Programme, which will train thousands of people across the country.
