Progressio is a development charity with Catholic roots that supports projects in 11 developing countries.
Its innovative business model places skilled development workers in communities to help them build capacity and overcome the barriers that keep them poor.
There was a need to appeal to a new, younger target audience.
The aim was to clarify Progressio’s brand position and grow its supporter base. Like many charities, Progressio has an ageing supporter profile and needs to modernise to appeal to a new, younger target audience, who is committed to social justice.
Our work for Progressio included:
- new strapline – ‘people powered development’
- updated visual brand with a ‘youth activist’ feel
- new website with online community
- preports, templates and stationery.
We delivered an open source Drupal CMS, with online donations, blogs, direct debits and supporter engagement tools. Since launch, Progressio has seen rapid growth in its online community.
