Reigate and Banstead wanted their new website design to be a model of accessibility, offering AAA compliance and a highly user-friendly interface.
We worked with the council’s in-house project team and their external technical supplier to deliver scoping, a rebrand of the site, accessible templates and a staff involvement exercise.
During the course of the project, we identified the need to engage the council’s customer services teams in sustaining the site, in order to shift its emphasis from basic news into a fully-fledged customer services delivery tool.
We developed a user-friendly interface for the council’s geographical system, which now offers a user-friendly text-based search along the lines of www.upmystreet.com. This allows users to access service information specific to individual streets and wards.
