A stylish new site with a streamlined grant applications system
Public Life’s new website for Paul Hamlyn Foundation provides an attractive new online brand, a more focused offering for visitors and an effective grant applications system.
The Foundation is a well-known independent grant-making body with a particular commitment to funding projects in education, social justice and the arts.
It was essential that the new site should reflect the organisation’s commitment to visual culture, so the design provides a stylish interface that showcases photography from PHF-funded projects.
When we began work, we identified the issue that PHF was struggling to properly service thousands of grant applications by telephone each year, so we proposed a more streamlined grant application process.
This provided a simplified user journey and a range of tools to help applicants through the process, including an eligibility checker. All new grant applications are now processed online, which saves the Foundation hundreds of person days each year.
